Beth Saenz

Beth Saenz is a strategic engineering leader with decades of experience innovating technology, products and processes that have led to long-term transformation and notable growth for both mid-size and Fortune 20 businesses. Among her strengths is an exceptional ability to translate business needs into processes and software, leading to outcomes like added revenue streams, increased sales capacity, customer retention and profitability.

As VP of Engineering Operations at Domo, she has contributed to customer growth upwards of 16X, and driven the success and differentiation of one of Domo’s most recognized technologies – Domo Data Apps. She also led the development of Domo’s COVID-19 Command Center, which quickly became a key resource that helped inform Utah’s COVID-19 policy decisions and became a favorite resource for the likes of Mad Money’s Jim Cramer and Vice President Mike Pence.

Before Domo, she held technical leadership roles at companies like Ancestry.com, Interbank FX and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where she pioneered digital and streaming communications for international audiences. As a leader at Samsung-owned Harman, she also championed a new, impactful embedded software development strategy that incorporates Agile software best practices into hardware-centric projects, which is still used today.

Beth is a natural leader, and attributes her success curating high-impact teams to her prioritization of diversity and emphasis on designing work paths suited for each individual. She is also a mentor to other women in tech, and participates in SheTech council and Utah Valley University’s women’s impact lab.

Beth is passionate about cooking food for family and friends, traveling, and home improvement and décor, recently project managing a complete remodel of her family home. Her greatest peace comes from the time she has with her family, including her husband of 31 years, four grown children, two daughters-in-law, and two granddaughters.
