SheTech Activates 15,000th Girl Nationwide to Pursue STEM, Fill Tech Job Shortage

The Women Tech Council (WTC), a national organization focused on the economic impact of women in technology, today announced that through the SheTech program, 15,000 high schools nationwide have been activated to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). This milestone was reached today with the launch of the sixth SheTech Explorer Day, a day-long event that activates, engages and inspires high school girls to pursue STEM fields through hands-on experience and one-on-one mentoring.
