Kim Wittman

Kim Wittman joined the Vivint Smart Home team in 2013 and currently serves as Senior Vice President, People and Culture. Her team has responsibility for supporting 20,000 employees across North America with the vision to create experiences that shape a culture that retains and attracts the best talent. This vision has led to Vivint being named to Forbes “Best Employers for Diversity” and Newsweek’s “Most loved Workplaces” lists.

Kim’s impact began with her first role as a Sr. Campus Recruiter where she created Vivint’s first college internship program. Over the next seven years her impact consistently grew as she was promoted throughout the HR organization. She first expanded her scope as a Recruiting Manager responsible for corporate and technical recruiting and scaled the company during critical growth years. She then leveraged her talent of building relationships and developing strategic growth plans as a HR Director and Vice President of Talent Acquisition. Her teams have hired, trained, and developed tens of thousands of employees during her tenure.

Kim was responsible for developing Vivint’s internal STEM programs including Code Changers, Girls Go Digital and Coding with Kids, and for expanding Vivint’s partnership with SheTech. She helped establish Vivint’s ERGs and became executive champion for Women at Vivint. She has also built meaningful relationships across the Silicon Slopes community, with eight years as an advisory board member for Women Tech Council and serves on the advisory board for UVU Women’s Success Center.

Kim’s passion for building teams has been instrumental in Vivint’s growth from a privately held to publicly traded company and now through the merger and integration with NRG. She inspires those around her embodying her purpose of living life full of adventure, connection, and hard work. Kim is known for her leadership, HR expertise, talent development, and commitment to diversity and inclusion, making her a key leader for women in tech.
