Kimberly Rhodes

Kimberly Rhodes is a leader within the educational community, advocating for high-quality professional learning for educators, collaborating with educators to promote student success in mathematics, and introducing new and innovative practices into classrooms for 20 years. Kimberly has been a highly qualified educator having worked with in Texas, Oklahoma, and Utah. Her passion for professional learning has allowed her to present at the local, state, and national level on a variety of topics including implementation of educational technology, co-teaching, classroom discourse, curriculum implementation, and creating a positive disposition towards mathematics. She currently works for Salt Lake City School District as an academic coach within three elementary schools across the Salt Lake Valley. As a coach, Kimberly works alongside teachers promoting best practices, lesson planning, coteaching, analyzing data, and helping educators reach goals to ensure our students achieve growth within elementary mathematics. In 2023, she was recognized as Salt Lake City School District’s Influencer of the Year. Kimberly serves as the Conference Director for the Utah Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Her leadership has allowed UCTM’s annual conference to grow from a small, local conference to a regional standout with over 1,400 educators this last year. She was recently appointed as a committee member for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, where she will serve a three-year term representing the Western Region on the Member and Affiliate Relations Committee. She lives in Draper, Utah with her children and dogs.
