Carlisha Robinson
Carlisha Robinson, Overstock’s Chief Product Officer, leads all product management and user experience (UX) functions across the company’s digital commerce experience. She has more than 30 years of experience in various technology industries from information technology (IT) to intellectual property (IP), from B2B to B2C and e-commerce.
Robinson’s curated path to product management began with various technical roles early in her career that spanned various functions, including quality assurance, engineering, marketing, analytics, and several others, before realizing a passion for product management. Robinson strongly believes her success stems from experiences in both technical and business roles, which have allowed her to build strong, cross-functional relationships and credibly communicate complex information – from engineering to the boardroom.
She is a recognized industry leader, having received the coveted Stevie Gold Award for product visionaries and innovators in tech. This award, combined with other industry awards she’s received, makes her proud of the contributions she’s made to the tech industry.
Robinson is passionate about advancing minority women in technology, education, and in providing justice for all. She advocates and serves as a life-time member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., chairing fundraisers for scholarships for college-bound females. Robinson is the current President and founding board member of the “Excellence and Advancement Foundation”, an organization that focuses on breaking the school to prison pipeline for minority youth by creating prevention and intervention programs.
Robinson lives in Austin, TX with her husband and has two college-aged kids. In her free time, she enjoys beach vacations where the water is clear and blue, and the sand is white. She’s an avid sports fan, especially of football, basketball, and tennis. She loves music and is Prince’s number one fan. She also enjoys dancing, in particular line dancing.
