How I learned the value of networking in 10 minutes

Networking is a nearly everyday experience for us MBA students. From in-class speakers to alumni events to mingling with our peers, networking opportunities abound.

Unlike other networking events, however, the Women’s Tech Council Speed Networking event on Oct. 21 offered a unique experience to interface with five inspiring female business leaders from around the Salt Lake valley.

The Women’s Tech Council is a nonprofit community organization that seeks to empower women in technology roles and technology companies through mentoring, networking and visibility. Women Tech Council Recognizes 2014 Women Tech Awards Recipients

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Yesterday, the Women Tech Council honored 17 trailblazing women with 2014 Women Tech Awards, an annual award recognizing women who are changing the face of technology with ties to Utah. SALT LAKE CITY—The Women Tech Council (WTC) will host its Fifth Annual Women Tech Awards on Sept. 20, and will honor 15 women in the technology field. The program recognizes technology-focused women who are driving innovation, leading technology companies and are key contributors to the community.
