Get INdispensable: Your Brand, Your Career, focuses on creating personal opportunities for professional growth

SALT LAKE CITY – March 9, 2010 —The Women Tech Council (WTC), (www.womentechcouncil.org) today announced the third annual Spring Networking Event, Get INdispensable: Your Brand, Your Career, will be held Thursday, April 22, 2010 from 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. at Noah’s in South Jordan. Registration is now open to members and non-members. The event is sponsored by Women Tech Council’s Elite Industry Partner, Symantec.

“We are excited to host this event and help cultivate relationships between our members and potential members, while learning from two key experts in career branding,” said Cydni Tetro, Women Tech Council Director.

The Spring Networking Event features a networking lunch followed by an interactive conversation with career branding leaders, Phil Windley, founder and CTO of Kynetx and Sue Johnson, president of Futura Industries.

Mr. Windley is currently an adjunct professor at Brigham Young University, CTO of Kynetx, executive producer at IT Conversations, organizer at Internet Identity Workshop, contributing editor at InfoWorld, and blogger at Technometria. Over his career, he has held a variety of roles in public and private companies, government, military and education.

Ms. Johnson has been President of Futura Industry for the past 15 years. Prior to that, she was president of a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mack Truck. She holds a degree in industrial and mechanical engineering from California Polytechnic State University and has been a member of the Utah Science Advisory Board.
