Women Tech Council Recognizes 2014 Women Tech Awards Recipients

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Yesterday, the Women Tech Council honored 17 trailblazing women with 2014 Women Tech Awards, an annual award recognizing women who are changing the face of technology with ties to Utah. The awards luncheon took place at The Grand America Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah. Five college students were also recognized for outstanding work in their pursuit of STEM-related fields of study.

Interactive event will highlight the mobile phone applications business professionals may use for success

Salt Lake City—Women Tech Council (WTC), a Utah-based organization focused on technology-related women in business, is hosting its “Tech Talk” speaking seminar on July 20. The interactive event will discuss the mobile phone applications that may help professionals succeed in business. The event will take place from noon to 1:30 p.m., and will take place at Vérité (608 W. 9320 S. in Sandy). Admission is $20 for WTC members and $30 for non-members, and includes lunch.

Women Tech Council’s Third Annual Award Honors Fourteen Outstanding Women in Technology

SALT LAKE CITY—AUG. 2, 2010— The Women Tech Council (WTC), (www.womentechcouncil.org) announced fourteen finalists for its third annual Women Tech Awards. The program recognizes technology-focused women who are driving innovation, leading technology companies and are key contributors to the community.
